SnapLok Wall Coping Wind Tested to Over 400mph – Unmatched Uplift Resistance
At Guttermaster, we engineer building envelope systems that stand up to the harshest environments — and our SnapLok wall coping system is no exception. Recently subjected to rigorous uplift and wind pressure testing, SnapLok withstood simulated wind speeds of over 400mph, making it one of the most resilient aluminium wall coping solutions available on the market today.
Industry-Leading Performance in Wind Uplift Testing
During an independent testing programme, the SnapLok coping system was installed using standard clips and fixings, and subjected to a series of high-pressure uplift simulations.
Result: SnapLok resisted detachment even when tested at wind speeds exceeding 400mph — equivalent to over 177 metres per second. No fixings failed, and the system retained full structural integrity.
These results far exceed any conditions expected in the UK or typical coastal and high-rise environments.
